Meet Kristyn Proeschel. She will pretty much tell you as it is, and that’s why you gotta love her. Her trustworthy self, along with her amazing sense for fashion are one of my all times favs about her. She looks like she came out of a Ralph Lauren catalog or close to a J.Crew mag. Finding her in plaids or an adorable sun-hat is likely to happen. She’s always up for a good time and has a laugh that you will not forget. a good glass of Cab or Sauvignon blanc is what you will find in her hands. I am not a big coffee or tea drinker but when I do it is Skinny Mocha or Wild Orange Tea by Tazo

Promotes local businesses

Are you involved in any group or help with community services, schools, church etc.?
I help with PTO events when my work schedule allows

What’s your favorite charity?
Feeding American nationally and locally I love Bernies Book Bank

What is one interesting thing about you?
I started swimming competitively when I was five years old

What’s your best characteristic?
Empathy

What is your biggest pet peeve?
People not taking accountability for their actions. We all make mistakes but you
must have enough emotional intelligence to take responsibility and learn for the
experience.

Best advice?
From my Grandmother – Never leave the house looking sloppy as it is a reflection
of how you view yourself.
From my Father – Don’t Quit….fight for what you want and believe in

Perfect dinner? Include the dessert.
Goat cheese, candied walnuts and strawberry salad , Asparagus Risotto and
a molten lava cake (think Roy’s in Kona, Hawaii).

What’s your favorite mommy drink?
Frogs Leap Cabernet Sauvignon

What’s your favorite restaurant?
My all-time favorite restaurant is no longer in business – Ocean Grill in Vero Beach, FL. Hard to pick a favorite but Cafe de Olla in Puerto Vallarta, The Beverly Grill in Beverly Hills, MI and Cliff’s Edge in Los Angeles are tough to beat.

What store would we most likely find you at?

Do you have a hobby?
I have recently started making wood signs and flower boxes. It is a fun way to get
my mind of business and be creative.

What is the most fulfilling thing about being a mom?
Watching your children trying to help others. To know that they have a kind,
generous heart and want to give back to their community or to people they will never know personally, makes me very proud.

What is the hardest thing about being a mom?
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner-Everyday, all day but thankfully my husband cooks!

What is your biggest fear?
Spiders-hate them!

What’s the perfect date?
Exploring a new city together, preferably one on water, trying new restaurants,
meeting new people together and enjoying time together. Our day to day routine is very busy at this stage in our life so it is nice to relax with one on one time.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
Become more patient

What is a secret trick you can share that any mama could benefit from?

Angela Ahrendts – She took Burberry to new heights and showed what women in leadership are capable of only to move into the male dominated industry of tech
when she joined Apple

What is really hard for you to do?
Folding laundry. It is impossible to stay on top of all of the laundry in my house.

What are you amazing at?
I have been told I have an eye for accessorizing an outfit.

What is one tradition you want to keep in your home with your children?
Making holiday cookies. We always made cut out cookies and decorated them growing up and it is one of my fondest childhood memories.

What is the number one thing that drives you crazy about your kids lol?
Leaving their clothes all over the house

What is one thing your husband would say you do better?
Organizing our travel

What is one thing you would say your hubby does better than you? (if your divorced skip these)

Changing the sheets. I love clean sheets but hate the process
