Delicious Turkey Meatballs
You will love these meatballs. These are baked instead of fried. They maintain their ball shape figure this way. They also are 1/2 the fat and calories and are just as moist and delicious. You will fall in love with this turkey vs. beef alternative. Much more lean for you but just as delicious.
Pre-heat oven to 350
20 ounces of ground organic turkey
Minced fresh garlic. I load it in the bowl.
3 c. seasoned bread crumbs
3/4 grated fresh parmesan cheese
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. parsley
1 organic egg
6 T. milk- Oberweis is our favorite
1 T. olive oil
Mix all ingredients together. I use a wooden spoon. I then use the pampered chef large scooper and measure out a ball. I then form it into a perfect shaped ball and set it on the non-stick cookie sheet to bake.
Bake meatballs 10-15 minutes on one side (until golden brown)
Flip- then bake another 10-15 minutes on the other side.
Remove from oven. Set aside and stick in sauce or can be refrigerated or placed in the freezer for a later time.
This recipe makes a ton, so plenty to hand out or enjoy some and save some for later.
